Save-the-date: XR MEETS FUTURE WORK
07 Nov 2022
The term Extended Reality (XR) is a collective term for technologies that deal with virtual and real environments and their hybrid forms.
This includes, among others, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR).
The use of XR is no longer unknown in industrial applications. It is used in particular for interactive training and co-working, for visualising prototypes & products in virtual rooms or exhibition spaces (e.g. trade fairs) , in service and remote maintenance.
In the event “XR MEETS FUTURE WORK”, the XR HUB Nuremberg & XR HUB Würzburg in cooperation with the Labs Network Industrie 4.0 (LNI 4.0) would like to introduce the dimension of a working world shaped by XR by presenting three research projects and show how industry and SMEs can use XR technologies to their advantage.
It will take place digitally via zoom and starts at 14:00 on November 15th.
