XR Hub at Transforming Media

On June 10th, the conference “Transforming Media - Media and Digital Society” took place in Würzburg. Experts and industry insiders discussed the profound changes that GenAI is bringing to the media industry. Topics such as the influence of AI on content creation and business models, the fight against disinformation, and technical and political solutions to ensure consumer trust were covered.

The conference offered an extensive program, which was supplemented by practice-oriented workshop sessions. Here, participants were able to deepen their skills in areas such as innovation techniques, prompt editing, and AI-supported content creation.

At the accompanying expo, regional companies presented their latest job profiles in the digital and media sector. Universities and startups invited people to try out innovative tools and media technologies. The XR Hub Würzburg was also represented here. We presented the HiAvA project and showed how XR can help strengthen our democracy.
