XR Meeting - Turning Research Into Practice

The XR Hub Würzburg, in collaboration with the XR Hub Nürnberg organized their very first XR Meeting “Turning Research Into Practice”, inviting companies and people interested in XR technologies to encourage the exchange between industry and research.

The event started off with Prof. Marc Erich Latoschik sharing his keynote “Turning Research into Practice: Human-Centered XR and AI for Real-World Impact” where he gave insights on current research efforts of the chair for Human-Computer Interaction and discussed the translation into the application in the “real world”.

Michael Amler from Invrtual kicked things off with his keynote “XR – The right tool for the job?” to share the perception of their way from research into the business world and their challenges and learnings.

The event was rounded up with three pitches by Response Reality, Robotop and the XR Hub Nürnberg.
