XR Hub @ Tramsforming Media 2026

On 7th July, the XR Hub Würzburg presented itself at the Transforming Media 2026. This event, held at the Vogel Convetion Center, brought together professionaös from across the media industry to discuss current trends, news and challenges facing the sector.

Alongside workshops, pitches and keynotes, an exhebition gave visitors the opportunity to explore pratical applications and solutions. We presented the Virtually Me demo, which demonstrates a motion-based approach to user athentication. It also highlights different visualizations for the authentication status of avatars in a virtual world.

Our participation at this event highlighted that XR and immersive media in general are an integral part of the wider media landscape. These technologies can provide new approaches and solutions to current challenges in the media industry.
